You can join the National Federation of the Blind by becoming a member of any of Ohio’s 14 local chapters, the At-Large Chapter for those in other areas, or any of our divisions. Membership in one of these organizations automatically makes you a member of the state affiliate and the national organization. Membership is not limited to legally blind people, though our local, state, and national constitutions do require that a majority of members of chapters and all divisions except parents be blind. We welcome everyone who wants to improve opportunities for blind people to join us in changing what it means to be blind.
